Erasmus students have visited the desanding plant

Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree “Water and Coastal Managament – WACOMA”

On Friday 12 October, the desanding plant was visited by the students of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree “Water and Coastal Managament – WACOMA” organized by Bologna University.
Coordinated by the BIGEA Department staff and accompanied by the  representatives of the Direzione Generale Cura del Territorio e dell'Ambiente - Servizio Difesa del Suolo, della Costa e Bonifica - Area Difesa della Costa della Regione Emilia Romagna, 23 students coming from different countries visited the plant in Cervia while it was being assembled. First, their own project - and the technology upon which it is based - was illustrated. The plant is part of a “technological tour” which includes other innovative technologies for the sustainable management of water resources and of Emilia Romagna coasts.

This project has received funding from the European Union's LIFE Programme under grant agreement No LIFE15 ENV/IT/000391
